Teaching

Teaching and mentorship are core aspects of my work as a scholar. In 2026, I received the Centennial Teaching Assistant award for outstanding contributions to teaching. In addition to the courses below, I have taught in several jails in the Bay Area through the Stanford Jail & Prison Education Program. I have also served as a mentor to both first-year PhD students and undergraduates, the latter through the James M. Montoya Scholars program.
